So, the movie is coming out soon . . .just curious if any of you have plans to see it.  I won't be wasting my time or money on it.  I couldn't even make it through the book . . .it was just badly written and not realistic at all.  I can only imagine what Hollywood has come up with . . .

My friend asked me if I would go with her. I told her no. She wouldn't go with me to The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies, so to hell with her! LOL

Personally I have no interest in "50 shades" I've found far better writing here!!

Friends don't ask friends to see shitty movies, Vile! I can't believe she wouldn't go see the Hobbit with you... What a tool.

I tried to read the books. The topic wasn't researched. It's sappy, stay at home mom shit. I could throw up in a book and it would be better. The girl is such a fucking crybaby. I would've punched her in the twat and given her a reason to cry.

My friend is kind of selfish that way. It was my birthday when I asked her to go to the Hobbit movie and I thought she might have obliged me for that reason. But she's one of these people who only likes rom-coms and chick flicks and I have told her don't ask me to go to any movies with you, unless you're gonna go see one of MY kinda movies. "Well, that ain't gonna happen!" she told me.  So she can find someone else to go with to "50 Shades". And you make me laugh too much Nyx, with your movie reviews! They need you on Access Hollywood!

This is why I don't have friends. I just go see movies by myself. It's much easier and I don't have to go shopping afterwards.

I kind of wanted to see the movie but it would definitely be with a group of girls dont think I would take the man in my life to see it.  His view on sex is perfect and I wouldnt want to spoil it

There is nothing in life that can't be improved.  Of course explaining and acquiring that can be problematic......

Yeah, the book is always better than the movie.  I thought what little of the book I read sucked, so doesn't bode well for the movie......

The whole 50 shades thing is such a joke real life is nothing like that shit.  Go to some real places and then let's talk.

The real joke is that 50 shades was no more than a fanfic of Twilight. A book that feels written with the intent of imparting the writers personal beliefs on the youth particularly in regards to sex before marriage and to a lesser extent drugs/alcohol and religion.

50 shades seems to have no issue with sex besides the fact that the author is clearly uneasy about writing sex scenes especially when it comes to finishing the scene. "And then they found their release" is literally the phrase used to end almost all the sex scenes throughout the entire series (She does try to mix it up a bit in the second book it is essentially the same phrase).
My next point is that 50 shades doesn't read like a fanfic. As someone who has read both the Twilight Saga and The Shades trilogy it feels almost like a rewrite. She couldn't even be original with her book.

All this is ignoring the lack of research and abusive content. I've barely even touched on the story line but I'm not going to re-read it just to refresh my memory.

As a fan fiction this is bad. For a romance novel it's... It's time wasted that I'll never get back but at least I know how bad it really is.

You are the third person today to mention that the 50 Shades is basically a rip off of the Twilight books.  I don't feel like l've missed anything.

I saw the movie with some of my girl friends who thought it would cheer me up.  I actually liked it.

One guy said that if the man would have been a redneck in a trailer park instead of a millionaire then the title of the book would have been "Assault" :D

Yea your probably right if it happened in a trailer park they would probably be arrested for assault.  The movie was ok not the best I ever seen but it was fun for a girls night out.
